T.E.A. means many things, but mostly it just means that we can be wickedly honest. This blog is a forum for the Party's members, a place to toss ideas overboard in an attempt to challenge the authority of the current art world. Our anonymous nature lets us say things that might startle the kids.

This is our manifesto:
Never settle for art that matches the couch.
Ask yourself: "Where can I get a couch to match this ART?!"
Art Criticism is never "safe".
Art reviews are too soft. They seek to explain, laud, and extoll virtues that are often not there. They play to a sense of wonder and naivete instead of challenging the viewer to engage with the art.
We hope to uncover the true thrust behind today's art scene, and to reveal the quirks and quacks that are intertwined with the business. Instead of telling the art appreciator what to think about the artwork, we respond viscerally, and let the folks figure it out for themselves.
